As ive always said that we as a nation have physically gained independence, but mentally we still remain a colony of the west. The buddhas of ICAP still think that they're wearing a sort of a medal of affiliation/membership from a foreign firm. The sad part is that they have fed the same message to their later generations, so that most of our current generation thinks in nearly the same fashion, hence these congratulations and all.

On the other hand, foreign affiliation may help MYAS to gain multinational clients, which are being audited internationally by DTT.
