Well....I guess ur question was replied immediately by one of the most senior member of this forum, blessed with some knowledge and it is really surprising that such an immediate response led u to the conclusion that

"I THINK NO MORE INTELLECTUALS LEFT IN THIS FORUM WHY?

anyway about salaries it depends whether the Chartered Accountant concerned is working in the Profession (Before u ask about Profession, let me explain that by profession i mean Working in a Chartered Accountancy Firm) or in the industry. Industry salary packages r normally beleived to be more than the packages in the profession...but Fresh qualified Chartered Accountants (with no Post Qualification Experience) r drawing between 45000-50000 p.m in the profession and about 60000p.m in the industry.
