yea i agree too about what gull said about basant. people/kite lovers can may be specify an area in their locality for flying kites. the location should be off from population so least damage is expected. we should not expect govt to do everything for us coz she is never gonna do anything. best thing is to help our selves coz if someone dear to us loses his/her life due to our carelessness then loss is all ours and not govt's.
about Basant as hindu rasam, i dont feel anything wrong in a tradition as far as it doesnt cross Islamic and ethical limits and doesnt deny our basic beliefs. if we have adopted some of Hindu Rasams then Hindus have also taken alot from Muslim traditions. Basant is a seasonal celebration and there is nothing wrong in celebrating it with in certain limits and without becoming a danger for some one's life. aur yeh sab hummain khud karna hai. apni maddad aap .....
