Dear Khani,
It's pleasure having your introduction. And yes, never feel anything odd in asking / sharing the issues. Of course some times any one of us may not reply due to certain constraints, but still, this forum is meant to discuss the issues and this is the only way out to know various things and share common experiences and knowledge.
I have friends relating to both Saraiki speaking areas. In Mianwali, I have so many times visited Mianwali, Kundiyan, Chashma, Vandies (specially Vandi Ghundwali), Iskanderabad, Daud Khel and Kala Bagh. The location of proposed Kala Bagh Dam (river indus) is extreme beauty of nature. I love that scene and just go to the river bridge (having small train track) to see that bowl type river's image. And yes, kababs of Kala Bagh and golden/silver tillah Chappals are excellent. During official visits, whenever I come from D G Khan to D I Khan on Idus Highway, I always take the route of Chashma (having date gardens) , Kundiyan and Mianwali (to Joharabad, Khushab, Lillah interchange etc) for reaching my native town Faisalabad. I always love this journey. In the birds season, I am used to taste fish, MURGHAABIes and Neel Kanth etc on the river bank at Chashma near Kundiyan. There is a gud resturant, the owner of which is my friend and he makes these arrangements for me when I take this route.
It's one of the most beautiful areas of Pakistan featuring many things common with KOHISTAN-e-NAMAK. KALAR KAHAR, CHUA SAIDAN SHAH, and SOON SKAISAR are the lands of my dreams. No one can know them, if has not undertaken detailed visits.
I love your lands that are also mine being a part of my country.
Yes, I agree that Saraikee of Mianwali is little bit harsh than saraikee of Multan. Saraikee of Multan is much more sweet in its delivery and presentation.
Regards,
Kamran.
