hi, u say cause ACCA's exemption been withdrawn so ICAP should stop examining the candidates?? (cant see any link) then u say re-examine all those who got through the 'back door', I think this back door is referring to ACCA exemption,,,, so one thing I cant be clear is whether u r in favor of those exemptions or otherwise??. ICAP does not exempt all world bodies (only significant 'bodies', u may call 'em 'booties' r given exemption, and now there's this new circular on the issue which I think reciprocates exemptions!!!)
Well, we r stink tanks no doubt on that.
I think in '61 it was lot toughter to even do B.com, for that matter, so it makes sense they were given CA degrees, I mean u should also question those who qualified without having to study IAS 39 and lots of other additions, if u realy believe your grounds r valid???? (I think they r not)
one more reason why ICAP dismantled the ACCA exemption was that people were failing FE 1 and 2 and then prefering to qualify ACCA and gain exemptions...(however I've HEARD that exemptions were brought in to favor some of the veterans' relatives, like their kids or etc)
