ACCA/CA is a study directed purely towards an 'accountants role in financial matters'... Whereas, CIMA is aimed towards an 'accountants role in management'.

So obviously CIMA helps you get into management tiers and would be a plus point... However, a lot of people are of the opinion, that if a Chartered Accountant goes for extra qualifications or degrees, it's an idea more of dressing up one's visiting card rather than acquiring extra educational qualifications to broaden up career opportunities...

So its all upto you to decide.
