SAS stands for SUBORDINATE ACCOUNTS SERVICE. This exam is only for government officials and taken by Auditor General of Pakistan. Over the last two or three years this exam has not been conducted being replaced with PIPFA (Public Sector Scheme) formerly known as AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians). A government employee who posesses any of these qualifications, gets exemptions from SAS exam MBA(Finance), ACMA(Inter), ACA(Inter). Now it is upto you to decide the best one.
