As DerivativeTrader mentioned in one of his recent posts, 'you can't compare apples with oranges'... CA and Actuary are pretty much different fields... On an ironic note, I guess you meant which one is 'better' ) ... Just kidding Mr Bilal, the thing is, one can't compare CA and Actuary on general grounds... If you want to know about salaries, then generally speaking Actuaries are more highly paid than CAs.
If you can tell your locality, then it would be easier for us all to tell you the institutions.

I totally agree with Sumaaan, but are salaries the only motivation to a particular career? What about the per-hour ratio!!

Well to be 'exact', I wrote 'if you want to know about salaries...' , so basically on that ground I compared both CA and Actuary.
Intrinsic and Extrinsic factors both constitute to a person's motivation towards a job... So if there are other factors which might motivate Mr.Bilal, please mention so that our newbie can have a better picture in mind about his career planning.
