Why do so many people from CA suggest leaving the study texts for Law and studying the pure ordinance? Almost all the students in my office suggest this. I've purchased both the Nazir Shaheen and PBP books and read them a little bit. There is no difference. The pure ordinance is difficult to read and really boring whereas the PBP text is a lot more user friendly. More importantly, Ive noticed so far that the PBP text has all the things in the Nazir Shaheeen book and sometimes even some additional stuff. So why shouldnt we use it? Im from the ACCA stream so I dont understand this approach. Whats the harm in studying it from PBP? I really dont want to do it from the raw ordinance but because everyone says so I should I feel my chances of passing will be diminished if I dont.
