Dear brother,

Please visit following weblink for HEC notice for Business Admin Study.

http//vulms.vu.edu.pk/NoticeBoard/NewsDetails.aspx?NewsId=639

Now, new MBA will count as M.Phil/MS in Business Admin with 18 year education. While Old MBA was 16 year education. this rule is effective from year 2009. So, If you want to do MBA from any instituion in Pakistan, just check, Is institution offering MBA according to NEW HEC RULES or still offering Old MBA Program.

After B.Com, you need to study 3.5 years to acquire MBA degree. After MBA degree, you can apply for Ph.D.

2) I you want to do MSc Ecnomics 2 year program then want to go to MBA (2 year) according to new rules. Then it will take 4 years at all.

3) if you go to Mcom ( 2 year ) then you go to MBA ( 1.5 year ), this route will take 3.5 year, then why you are hesitating to enter in MBA 3.5 years after BCOM. ?

4) If you are interested to develop your career in Accounting and Finance at all ( MBA Finance ) then CA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, CFA would be best choice as compare to MBA.

becuase now a days, most professionals holding these professional qualification are easy available to employers if we compare the numbers 10 years backs. Now more people are willing to acquire these professional qualifications. beucase best faculty, best information, best support easy available.

These qualifications are so much rewarding as compare to MBA FINANCE holders.

Postive Criticism, open discussion will highly appreciated in this regard.
