What your views about this decision of SUPREME COURT which happend first time in the history of Pakistan after 1954?
I think its good move towards the independence of COURTS.
Pakistan Supreme Court reinstates chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry officials ISLAMABAD, July 20 (AFP) - Pakistan Supreme Court Friday reinstated chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry. The short order was pronounced by justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday, the head of the 13-member full court of the supreme court . The court also declared invalid the presidential reference against chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry. While the reinstantement order was unanimous, the verdict about the reference was a 10-3 majority decision. (Posted @ 1628 PST)
