CIMA to open new Pakistan office

KARACHI The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is extending its reach into Pakistan with the opening of a new site during last week of April 2009, reveals a press release Wednesday.

The opening of an office in Pakistan is to deal with demand for international finance professionals in the Asian state. Director at CIMA, Andrew Harding said, “Pakistan is amongst the world’s most exciting emerging markets, recording a recent average growth in GDP of 6-8 percent and attracting multinationals from around the globe.” Our new office in Karachi will allow us to offer even greater support to our existing members and students and to create opportunities for the talented young people of Pakistan, he added. staff report
