How to calculate 18 months for Module E attempt?

Please guide me how to calculate 18 months of time required before attempting Module E. For e.g. if I have attempt in June 2011 than from when my articles should be counted to be able to appear in June 2011 attempt? Is their and relaxation provided by ICAP in calculation of 18 months?
