Assalamoalaikum,

I have a query regarding my situation from employer's perspective

My Gross Salary has been as under

<b><u>Employer 1</u></b>

Jul 09 - 16,000 - Tax Deducted 80
Aug 09 - 23,000 - Tax Deducted 80
Sep 09 - 23,000 - Tax Deducted 188
Oct 09 - 23,000 - Tax Deducted 188
Nov 09 - 23,000 - Tax Deducted 188
Dec 09 - 23,000 - Tax Deducted 188

<b><u>Employer 2</u></b>

Jan 10 - 25,000 - Tax Deducted 0
Feb 10 - 25,000 - Tax Deducted 0
Mar 10 - 25,000 - Tax Deducted 0
Apr 10 - 25,000 - Tax Deducted 0
May 10 - 25,000 - Tax Deducted 0
Jun 10 - 25,000 - Tax Deducted 0

<font color="blue"><b>Total Annual Salary 274,000</b></font id="blue">

Q1 I understand that my salary is not subject to income tax?

Q2 If that is correct then my 2nd employer don't have to deduct or pay any income tax to government?

Q3 Can I claim refund of income tax deducted by first employer?

In case, if my 2nd employer has to pay / deduct income tax, please let me know, how would that be calculated? On a year's term or on 6 months term? Would appreciate if you could show calculations.

Many thanks in advance.
