Dear Mr. Javed,
I am really inspired seeing the struggle you have made for the social and general issues. We unfortunately don't realise our social responsibilies and we always opt to bear the undesirebale treatments just because we feel that any effort made or steps taken will bring no positive results. This very feeling (which of course is not untrue) has lead our society to a point where no body can expect anything positive or justifiable.
I appreciate that you pin point the odd things in departments, officers, systems and society. I appreciate the steps you have taken which I come to know from your posts. If every one among us become little bit harsh on it (may be called rigid by others), we may expect some increased level of accountability and relief.
Our country is represented by a mixture of variety of mindsets, expectations, characters, beliefs, and thinkings. The two things which are most likely to be unrooted from this society are dishonesty (with every thing) and injustice. In my beloved muslim country wherever you go, you will not be able to get the work done without paying a Salam to the picture of Qaui-e-Azam. You can understand what I mean.
We are dishonest from a worker to the president. Not a single governmental department will pay attention to you unless you bribe them. We daily see very tiny but extremely cheap things in our surroundings but we never speak against them. In private hospitals and clinics those people get more affectionate and refined treatment who bribe the clinic attendenats / receptionists for getting priority numbers over the others. There are more than 90% judges who themselves or at least their readers are corrupt. Not a single honest police officer could be witnessed. You will get some drive through procurement of eatables from our local resturants, you will pay for mutton products and you will be given a packed chicken or beef product, which you will explore when you reach your home after driving for an hour. No body will pick your phone to even register a complaint. No body will ever make a mistake by giving you mutton against receipt of payment for beef. It's strange.
There are so many little and bigger issues which we are keeping on to bear without doing anything to correct them.
You have done marvelous job whenevr you addressed such problems.
Regards,
KAMRAN.
