Dear Friends

It is noted that professional accountants very seldom join banking as a carreer.....I think they should join diff dept. of banks ..Wat do I observe only in finace/accounts/audit I find professionals accountants & the rest very valuables dept ve been left for MBAs.....i.e. treasry...credits.risk assesment.....international banking.....loan reshedulaing..........etc....

I think a Prof. Accounant can better work then an MBA if he enter in banking carreer......

This is a article posted by Ehrar ... Hope this will clear ur views...

quote
There is lot of opportunities for young CMA of ICMAP . I recetly qualified in 2001 joined ICP as a Accounst Officer where i prepared Finanical Statements of ICP for June 2002. Now a days I am in Allied Bank of Pakistan at reputed position dealings in accounts. I quoted my example just to clear there are lot of opportunities for CMA. Mostly qualified or part qualified are working in Textiles, suger, chemical and electrical Industries. They need cost accountants and even all my mates are in these sector. There is also opportunity in the Banks / Finanicil Institutions & companies like PSO, SSGC & Procter & gamble they mostly consider ICMAP's grad over others.
As far as ACCA qualifieds are concern , i dont know about the policies of their representative regarding this matter.

I think this is a desperate attempt to look at other people CVs and update your own CV accordingly.

One more thing, please don't forget to include your email log in details too.

Welcome to this forum. Let me tell u that U should aim for a major in a subject in which u r most interested. It all depends on your ambitions and goals. If u r attracted towards finance then u should aim for MBA Finance. As these Degrees arent the end among themselves but rather a passage which guides you to acheive ur Secondary aims.
As our Primary aim is always directed towards ALLAH.
