lol... lemme see
1) rattafication masters
2) mentally weak
3) lacking IQ
4) lack of travelling abilities
5) indecent dressers
6) corruptors of the morals of our pure, shareef-un-nafs, allah mian ki gaai men!! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
now the latest negative trait discovered in our women
7) shyness
my dear friends... if a girl doesnt seem shy to us, then we ourselves label her a 'be-haya' larki!! Isnt this hypocricy or what...?
Yes, i agree with you Paki that the condition of women in our rural areas is not much better than cattle, but that doesnt mean that we immediately run off to the rural areas to try to improve their situation and forget our daily duties in life. What i mean is that we should atleast try to improve the condition of our womenfolk around and in the environment we live in, which is the least we can do. And we can only do that when we first try to understand their side of the story, instead of blaming them for everything bad on god's green earth.

and this has now led us to watch what they show on their dramas in geo and indus etc
<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana" size=2 id=quote>
Yaar Paki... i have always liked your opinion on issues, but please don't mind me saying this that your above statement seems quite hypocritical to me. We all love to watch with our whole families indian and western movies, and programs like Temptation island and FTV etc on television and don't care about losing any moral values. But when we see only a fraction of similar sort of stuff from our own channels, we start crying and shouting our throats hoarse over the way our media is projecting 'be-hayaai and fahashi'.
Is it because our 'jazbaa-e-imaani' and 'ghairat' only rises when we see our OWN damsels flaunting around provocatively and don't mind a bit when we see other's (read gori/sarhad-paar ki) womeonfolk doing much much more? If we are so concerened about all this, then why don't we put a lid on these, more provocative things first, then go out for the less provocative stuff later.

why dont we ask ladies directly for the reason of not coming into our field. I think they are afraid of two things
1. CA field
2. CA Guys
<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana" size=2 id=quote>
Lol... yaar SMR, no wonder women refuse to come in a field where male chauvanism lies so deeply entrenched in each of our minds!! The funniest thing is that all of us don't mean anything bad towards them, but we don't even realize how patronizing we get when we talk about them.
My friends, all this has to change if things have to improve for our womenfolk, ie. firstly our traditional mindsets. And why the hell do we see this situation as something between 'US and THEM' in the first place? like we are talking about some other species or aliens, indians or israelies!!
Btw... SMRaza has made another addition to the negative trait count! <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
8) Darpok
I would again repeat that please... lets move on from these girl-bashing thoughts. Lets not think of them as anything superior or inferior to us, just our equal. The day we start to think of them as equal, most of the problems will be solved.
