<br />AOA !
I am currently working in dubai in the field of accountancy. i did my Inter ( ICMA ) from pakistan long back in year 2000. When i checked now from ICMA Pakistan they asked me to clear another 10 papers + Comprehensive test. Considering the fact that we are into practical field and livinig with family too, it seems to be an impossible mission to find ample time for rest of the papers to qualify.
Now going through IMA, i m bit confident that i can perhaps go through it in six month time. Can you guys let me know how long it would take me to exactly the every day to study and then clear CMA OF IMA.
Mr Sohail ! do add your opinion especially to my situation.
Thanks

Mr. Faisal,
It's good that you are returning back to your study after 10 years gap.
Time period required to finish CMA (IMA) is a little bit difficult to predict becuase it depends on so many factors.
Factors like educational background, devotion towards study, practical exposure to similar type of job and paper attempting technique are few factors to name.
Secondly IMA changed its syllabus and exam system. Now its a 2 part exam instead of 4 but IMA considering pre-knowledge of few subjects from students. All subjects in 2 parts are now going to be tested at level "C" (more extensive checking of knowledge).
But one thing is sure that if you are committed then you will definitely pass it between 9-18 months.
Regards,
Sohail
