I saw my friend play it .... and yes the graphics and the game overall is really good. Btw... this friend has cleared the game by winning all the 110 (112?) races and he too tells me that there is no other game like it.

112 to be exact, though towards the end it gets boring repetitive,and obnoxiously difficult. Th AI cheats to high hell, and I would only recommend this game if you have patience and lots of free time....

The graphics are gorgeous though, especially the motion blur fx (available only on DX8.0 pixel shader supporting cards), and if you have a modern PC with a half decent video card you are in for a visual treat.

Can it be compared with the Midtown Madness, as i found it more interesting than previous version of Need4speed.

yes the graphics are breathtaking real!.. but to experience the lovely graphics, you must have a really good graphics card... as told about DirectX8 supportive graphic card.

And yes its boring near end and I expected the end to be a little more exciting but the Underground Mode ended all of a sudden.. nothing happened. <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

and yes!!!!!!! AI CHEATS!!!! the computer player in that game cheat, man!! they can go through sharp 90 degree corners with high speed whereas if we try to do that we always slam in the walls or we have to slow down to avoid slamming. But yknow what? thats not exactly cheating... if you completely master the turnings, you can also turn like the computer. It just so happens that the game tries to show that after the 80th mission, all the drivers you meet are professional and their turning abilities are marvellious! ... anywayz.. good game <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

ur turning abilities really become marvellous in the end of Underground racing.......da best feature of diz game is DRIFT racing .It's really challenging n irritating offcourse specially tht damn WALL IMPACTS. so guyz BeWare....

Hehehe... Farcry is a bloody monster!! It runs only on low detail on my P-4 2.4 Ghz, GeForce Fx 5200 system.

hey brushguy oops guybrush how abt ma machine? ll it run on ma PC? its 1.7GHz P4 Celeron with 128mb memory but no VGA.
