Hey... am looking for advice... I am currently doing ACCA (F1-3). I have worked for KPMG as a trainee accoountant, and generally like the profession... and moreover, being part of the ACCA...

I haven't captured the full depth of what ACCA is grooming to be in industry since I'm F3, but I was looking forward to a career as a Certified Financial Planner... How well does the ACCA curriculum prepare me for the programme... I'm also opted into the Oxford Brookes Dgree...

On a broader note, how well does ACCA prepare you for CFA and CFP?

As far as CFA is concerned, ACCA has 2 financial management papers that will help you with it. F9 is compulsory and contains all the major areas of financial management in some detail. However if you plan to pursue CFA you should opt for paper P4 in the later stages which is advanced financial management, its one of the toughest papers in ACCA and I think will provide a very good base for CFA.
