Only KU offers a bachelors programme for actuarial science. Most people study on self-study basis and follow either SOA or IOA stream. Both have equal presitige and job market in Pakistan. Mojority of people are specialising in Life insurance or Investment. Although, a new trend has emerged in General Insurance and for which people are opting for CAS or IOA.
