plz comments if someone done ACCA without articleship
i mean he is ACCA Affiliate; and turn into other profession
i mean business due to different reason,
IS IT BENEFICIAL TO RETAIN ACCA AFFILIATE STATUS AS IN FUTURE
HE IS NOT PROGRESSING TOWARDS MEMBERSHIP AND HIS BUSINESS NOT
DIRECTLY CORELATED WITH ACCA AS I M GIVING AFFILIATE FEE SINCE
2 YEARS WITHOUT PURPOSE
IS IT BENEFICIAL TO RETAIN ACCA AFFILIATE STATUS WITHOUT MEMBERSHIP
PLZ COMMENT MERITS & DEMERTIS OF BOTH SIDES

If you wish to move abroad and carry on with your education there ACCA Membership status may help you, as that is recognised in the UK and now in Pakistan as a Masters equivalent. On the other hand if you think you have no chance of coming back to a field where you might have to study more, or you may not need those four letters i.e. ACCA in front of your name, then its quite useless paying those annual subscription fees.
