Hi
Any CAT passed student can help me.

What is the session written on your Examination entry form in which you are exempted 1.1-1.3

For Example

You passed CAT by sitting for exams in December 2005.
What does your exam status on your online account or your examination entry form states? Does it says that 1.1-1.3 are exempted in December 2005 session or does it says June 2006 session?

I hope you understand, what I am trying to ask.

Dear Usman,
Since I haven't received any docket yet for ACCA but I'd like to tell u about the e-mail I received after 3 minutes after my results. It stated that

Following the June 2006 session at 31-JUL-2006 your examination status is
Paper Details 1.1INT Pre. Fin. State
Result Exemption
Paper Details 1.2 Fin. Info. Man.
Result Exemption
Paper Details 1.3 Man. People
Result Exemption

Coz I've graduated in this session so it stated the above mentioned.
but do u mind telling me that what exactly the problem is?
this shall help me in better understanding the problem
plz reply ASAP.

thanlyou very much for the reply, Salman

When I completed the CAT, there was some problem coz I passed my two CBE's in January 06 & the other papers in Dec 05

I am applying to top business schools at the US & Canada, so I was trying to make sure that this status report shows no confusion for me & for the university which I'm applying at in sense of result timings & sessions. To check that everyone's is the same as mine.

Would you do me a little more favor, If you havn;t received ur exam entry form yet, can you please lgin to your account at www.accaglobal.com

Check your exam status, It shows you the sessions at whoch your papers are exempted.

Yyour ACCA ID is the user id & the password is written on the documents sent initially at the time of registration to you.

Please do reply

Hi the Ausmanpk2001

Well seems like you are in a bit of problem here you say you completed you manual papers in December whereas you completed you CBT'S in Jan 06
well there is going o be a status problem here . Actually ACCA recognizes only Two examination Sessions Decemeber And June And For Example The Cut OFF date For a student to enter For the June Exams is October 15 So Automatically if a student Give a CBT after this Date he is deemed to have cleared his exams in the Session following the Next in your case JUNE 06 You status will show that you have cleared CAT In JUNE this year

This was the same thing that happened to me last year i Cleared one CBT on Mine on the 24th of october But never got any ACCA exemption After Decemeber 05 But thang GOD for Me i directly Contacted the ACCA office in the UK and they Changed my Details and i gave ACCA part II exams in June

Well i Hope this Reply of mine is of any help of yours
Cheers
Arnold

well.
thankyou very much, arnold

I also contacted ACCA & they changed my status, but still I want to know that at which month normally CAT students get exemption. So when I apply for MBA there is no confusion, that I am not able to clear.

Dera Ausman,
The Docket that I've received is a bit strange for me. It states that 1.1 to 1.3 are exempted at the Dec06 Session. Now what does that mean. anyway I am eligible to sit for my part2 exams this december. now I have one confusion. hope you could help me. that the fee per paper for part2 is 49 sterlings but they have shown 51 sterling per paper. do you also have some thing like this. plz reply ASAP.

They might have increased the fee
