If someone applies under skill level A(professional qualification) after doing ACCA or C.A and one years post-qualification experience then the training wouldn't need to be of a managerial level right? Skill 0 requires Managerial, whereas we are applying under Skill level A

ACCA is not a Pakistani qualification , and I also dont know the exact information about the status of ACCA in UK , whether it is a professional qualification or not and what are the compulsory training requirement they have ?

FOR Qualified CA / CMA, eligible to apply under new scheme of Canadian immigration.

For non-qualified Chartered accountant , if he has completed article-ship training and having one year experience at Skill level 0 , he is eligible to apply under new scheme of Canadian immigration.

For a person completed apprenticeship training either one / 2/3/4 year but not under ICAP bye laws or ICMAP bye laws. In order to make him eligible under canadian immigration he need to have the experience letter from firm stating that he worked , or working as Manager Accounts or manager Audit as the case may be at-least for one year. He than can apply under NOC 1111 ( Financial Auditor / Accounatnt) with Skill level A .

Astonishing you don't know about ACCA. It is an internationally recognized professional qualification requiring 3years relevant experience.
Does skill level A also require a managerial level post(it says professional qualification, not managers)??? If yes then what remains the difference between skill 0 and skill type A???

Hi Sumairalam,
ACCA is a professional qualification in UK.They legally have same status in UK as that of CA(ICAEW),CA(ICAS) or CA(IRELAND) ,CIMA etc. There is a 3 years mandatory relevant experience requirement to become a full ACCA which could either be attained before, after or during the period of study and exams.ACCA is a member of IFAC as are Pakistani CA(ICAP) or ICMAP.
Now tell me
1)will 1 year experience attained after passing all papers of ACCA and in a chartered accountancy firm be enough to attain 15 points or not?
2)are u a CA/ACMA professional or immigration related person?

Dear ,

As far as I know it is not mandatory requirement to do articleship in firm to complete the ACCA certificate. Yes 3 years relevant experience is required.

If you are right about the status than principal applicant having ACCA certificate may apply under NOC Code 0111 , with skill level A. But still require one year full time paid job work experience with job description as mentioned in code list.

He will than require a certificate from firm mentioning
1) the job descriptions that matches the some of the job descriptions in noc code list 0111 and
2) the title amongst the title mentioned in same code and
3) paid full time or permanent job

2)are u a CA/ACMA professional or immigration related person?

I am student of ACCA.

I never said I dont know about ACCA , my question was different.

Please understand the coding .. skill 0 -9 are skill type whereas Skill A-D are skill level.

Please visit http//www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/essential_skills/general/noc_information.shtml

for further understanding.

2)u say that u urself r ACCA student but do not know its status in UK!Verrry strange!
3)I still cannot get the bottomline regarding work experience. At least my experience is paid so payment out of question but rest about title I am still confused.I was a mere trainee.I do not know what title would a trainee be assigned?

One more thing dear Sumairalam regarding ACCA status in Canada.
A full ACCA member is entitled to get CGA canada(one of 3 canadian prof. bodies) membership with just clearing a Canada Law course.
Are u Pakistani by ancestry or not?

Dear Shani,

Dont confuse your self,

1) I never wrote that you said any thing ,

2) I opt ACCA for different reason , and dont want to go into details

3) I suggested you a way . if you are unable to obtain such certificate than wait , and apply once you have one year experience in managerial level.

Dear Shani it is very simple you need to have one year full time paid experience in specified category in order to apply for canadian immigration, as a financial person you have two options

Noc code 0111 - Financial Manager
Noc Code 1111 - Financial Auditors & Accountants

On education side either you have
professional qualification (Skill level A )

OR
Degree in Finance (Skill Level A) with Training (Skill Level B)

OR if donot have both than
Managerial Experience (skill type 0)

go and check the job description and title , if you can arrange work experience certificate as per the job description with any of the tittle mentioned in NOC , you are eligible to apply
