dear friends,
i have recently applied for LSBF for ACCA, according to them there is no IELTS requirement , and the procedure seems so easy,, can anyone please guide me as to what are the benefits of doing ACCA from UK rather than doing it from here,,

one person has told me that you get easy employment there in England if u complete your ACCA from there, because the UK firms prefer ACCA from UK

what i want to know is that is it worth doing ACCA from england and spending around 8 lacs, or should i do it from here,
i have been trying in ICAP but tough luck of me ,, havent gone through more than 4 papers of it,
thats why i wanna switch to ACCA ,,

Dear, if you can afford then it's better to do ACCA from UK. LSBF, LCA etc have great reputation all over the world. UK firms prefer UK qualified ACCAs but it depends upon your luck and effort that how you succeed in availing such job opportunity. Thousands of people from all over the world move to UK for ACCA but very few of them succeed in getting work permitt/visa. But its sure that ACCA from some UK college has more worth than that of here in Pakistan.

For ACCA you will go on study visa and will not be allowed to work full time. For full time work you need to have work permit in UK. There are some formalities which are to be fulfilled for obtaining such work permit.

Ya after graduation they do give work permit. But dear it depends upon you that how capable you are. If you succeed in getting place in some reputable firm in UK (Big 10 etc) then your chances of work visa increases. But it is not an easy task to get training contract in such firms.

Ya in most of the cases it is so. Its open reality that UK economy cannot absorb all of the ACCAs who go to study there. My friend who went to study ACCA from LCA few months back told that there are above thousands of ACCA students only in LCA and majority of them is from Pakistan. So one should not burn his boats in Pakistan before going to UK for study.
