Hassan have you applied already for icap exemptions? I did 2 months ago. All I got was a letter from them saying I should ask ACCA to email them confirmation of my affiliate status. That was done. But since then there has been no word from icap.

you also have to submit a copy of your acca affliate certificate or your professional level certificate . and if you have already done so call them at their karachi office number and they will tell you about the status of your exemptions . i got my exemptions letter back in around three weeks time .
fyi you can request your affliate certificate from your acca online account , under payments section

P.S do call icap karachi office , exemption dept

<br />@ hassan tell me as u join kpmg on ACCA internee basis
still u will enforce by kpmg to claim exemption
of icap,if u not claim exemption what r implications
secondly tell me in interview what kind of course related
question they ask to u
thirdly howmuch time in years take by u to complete
ACCA with what no of attempts

no i was not forced to claim exemptions i just want to do CA . and if you dont what's the problem in getting exemptions , you just pay and you get them.
no technical questions were asked in the interviews
i did acca in two years , first attempt all the way

I submitted all the documents they told me to, the only thing that delayed my application was the email of confirmation from the ACCA. I emailed ICAP's examination branch yesterday, hopefully they will respond otherwise I'll call them. Thanks
