ACCA is English qualification and in 1997 English prival counil allowed ACCA members to call themselves chartered accountants, however ACCA recomend its members to call themselves chartered certified accountants to distingusih themselves from other qualified accountants. If any ACCA member calls himself chartered accountant, its absolutely fine as law allows him to calls himself chartered accountant.

Again ACCA its members to call themselves chartered certified accountants.

chartered was granted in 1974 but ACCA members were not allowed to call themselves chartered accountants till 1997.

In 1974 ACCA chartered body, but privy council allowed its members to call themselves chartered accountants 1997. In 1997 ACCA also its changed its name from chartered Association of certified Accountants to Association of chartered certified Accountants.

Please do some reseah before posting, it will always good idea.

uncalled for and very low.

its not OBVIOUS and alot of ACCA members are unaware of the fact that they can call themselves chartered accountants.
