Assalamalaiqum

I have just started doing CAT and i am taking first 3 papers and i am planning to take paper 4 also. Since my school SKANS doesnt offer me the facility to study all 4 papers aside so i am looking to prepare paper 4 with a private teacher. Can anybody tell me whether its better to appear manually in december for paper 4 or in january through CBE. Kindly advice me which one is better. And also tell me if i can appear for my other 5 papers in June 2007 attempt? Since i'd like to complete my CAT in 1 year.

Thankyou
Regards
Junaid

there is no restriction on attempting the number of papers of CAT in one session.
Infact, I sat for all 9 papers in one session & passed too.

In the CBE exam, more effort & detailed knowledge is required, so it might be better for you to chose the manual one especailly for 3 & 4 papers.
Manual paper will give you good result with less effort. So, if ther are no other complications, i suggest you to go for the manual one.

Best of luck to you, Junaid

dear u may join any other group of skans for p4, and try to attempt it CBE, and yes 1 year is enough for CAT. i my self completed in 8 months. and done it by self study with the help of my cousins doing CA, CIMA, ACCA's they help me alot.
i studied 1st 2 papers from PAC which took 2.5 months and then i realize that if i remains still there it is not posiible to complte CAT in comming attepmt then i start study my self and thanks to god i clear all the papers in 1st attepmt.
i attempted 4 cbe's and then all 5 manully.
so if any of ur cousin is doin ACCA / CIMA he may helps u alot for ur P$ else u might try to join any other gruop of skans.
like if u r goin mon. , tues., wed. , then join P4 on Thrs, fri, sat,
but remember they will take almost 3 months to complete your course , and if u do it by some technical person who is sincere with u , then its a game of max. 1 month.

Thankyou all for your kind comments. I appreciate you all. I have hired a teacher for paper4 and looking forward to appear in January CBE. I will inshallah appear in June for my other 5 manual papers. Do you think i can prepare them in 4 months?
