Research Analyst is better in terms of money & future prospects. u can proceed faster in investment banking than mutual funds but work life balance doesn't exisst. u've to till late nights & u'r not usually free on weekends.

mutual funds r better. u don't hav to work late nights. its usually 7 or 9 in the evening! & weekend work is rare. is not as good in money but itsstill very good.
