Dear,
Like what has been stipulated for awarding the ACA status of ICAEW to the ICAP members , similar conditions are applicable to an ICAEW member to become a practicing chartered accountant in Pakistan.
Again, one will not be allowed to get into public practice in Pakistan, if he is ICAEW member unless he fulfills the required conditions. This, in my view, includes qualifying certain papers of ICAP.
As far as migration is concerned, it is easily available to ACCAs under HSMP, if they have certain amount of experience and money baking.
Therefore, in my view, getting ICAEW qualification and membership is more focussed on improving professional status and vision and getting more diversification in advanced financial and accounting studies.
Best regards,
Kamran.
