We are used to give debit note for the rejected goods. But the goods purchased during June 2010 were at 16% sales tax and if we reject the goods and give debit note to the vendor in july 2010 regarding the purchase of june 2010 then what would be the sales tax on the rejected items in debit note.
Will it be 17% according to new sales tax rate or 16%..

Debit note or Credit note issue according to the ''sales tax invoice'' rates.
