I am not very much sure from where you got all that info. According to my knowledge normally ACCA students who want to get training from big firms have to get registered with ICAP. And, a student gets CA inter exemption after passing ACCA core.

I always suggest to people that joining CA through ACCA route is always an easier and more recomended route.

I am not sure where the discussion on this thread is leading to. But no body should have any doubt that CA

-is much well paying than ACCA
-has got quite comprehensive course as compared to ACCA or other accountancy qualification
-is quite difficult to pass

There is no point is comparing CA and ACCA
