hi....

I need assistance. I have a dynamic IP connection to one of the standalone computers and i need an algorithum to convert it to a static IP for the same computer. I donot wish to ask my ISP to allocate me a static IP instead of Dynamic.

so the final architecture will be

ISP will provide a dynamically rotating IP. but the dynamic IP will be structured to give a fixed IP Address. (this solution is needed as part of tunneling protocol)

Your kind assistance will be very helpful.

[D] I think you are connected through a DHCP server and unfortunately it assigns a new dynamic IP to your system every time you log in. I don't think this can happen. However, I would love to see if any one could suggest you something useful.
