English Music

We have another thread on this forum called "Music" but the discussion on that seems to be about classical music. Just wanted to know if there are any english music fans here. Linkin Park, Evanescence, Greenday, coldplay, travis...... anyone?

One thing is wrong at large that

<li> Music itself is a language </li>
<li> in whatever language the lyrics are, music is in music (no other language)</li>
<li> Writing 'English Music' is equivalent to 'Urdu French' or 'German Arabic' or any thing like that</li>
<li> We can say Classical Music, Pop Music, Rock, Jazz </li>
</ul>

Conclusion is that writing 'English Music' is totally sensless because music itself is a language

You an write 'Classical Music in Urdu' or 'Rock in English' that will make sense

I like a couple of Brian Adams songs like "whatever you do" and the one he sang for "spirit". But otherwise I'm not a fan of him.

By thw way I think the new eminem song, the one that is aginst Bush, is really awesome. Thw video is pretty gutsy too

As far as linkin park is concern i like some of their songs !!

C'mon....... Grow up. It can hardly be called music. It's all the same. Some random black guy makes it on his computer then adds in a video with some women and plays basketball. Wow, impressive.
Okay there might be a few exceptions like Eminem or outkast but that's the general case.

I totally agree with Faraz on Hiphop !
