I've just recently acquired a taste in european movies and have become their greatest fan.

Lately watched "Lovers of the Arctic Circle" and have been haunted by this wonderful movie eversince. Although i initially thought of it as a mushy romantic movie of which i am not a big fan, but this spanish/french movie turned out to be a revelation.

Another movie i was totally blown over by recently was "Enemy at the gates", a WW-II movie which thankfully doesnt have the usual hollywood-style gung-ho americanism ("America won the war for the all the free world thorough its faith in democracy, resolve and high morals"). This european production describes the eastern front of the WW-II in all its gory glory.

Am also particlularly fond of historical and cold war dramas. The last emperor, 13 days, Schindler's List, Gladiator, English patient, Hunt for the red october, Lawrence of Arabia, Dr. Zhivago are some of my favorites.

Am a huge fantasy and sci-fi fan (don't wanna sound too geeky but oh heck, i accept ) in all its manifestations, be it books, movies or even computer games. Tolkien is the lord of fantasy himself! Clarke and Asmiov are so awesome. Robert Jordan, hmmm... have to read him sometime. Mr. Puzo has created a masterpiece in the godfather.

Cricket, badminton and pc games rock!

Muscially, i am still stuck in the mid-90's as i was an active follower back then. One fateful day, i decided to come into our dear profession and immediately lost sense of time, space, events, news, muscic and everything else in this universe. Am on a mission of rediscovery now.

Dark side of the moon (Pink Floyd) - one of the greatest pieces of rock music.

Oasis - The best band to come out of the 90's

Collective Soul - Was their avid follower during my musically active days

Eagles - Simply wonderful

Iqbal Bano - everybody should attend atleast one live concert of this maestro before she kicks the bucket, simply intoxicating.

Paki Rock/Pop - Am trying to get a taste of the new wave of artistes and bands. Am kind of impressed by a few, depressed by the rest. The thing i am enjoying the most is the diversity and the uniqueness all these ppl are striving for. Thats good.

CBPian... Havent seen any of the new summer blockbusters so i can't comment. The ones i am interested in the most are Pirates of the Carribean (i guess bowman would understand! ) and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

T3 Same old story..... no new special effects....T2 was better even after 10 years or so..... But for the sake of seeing the sequel, one has to see T3

Matrix 2 Incomplete......when matrix 3 will be released, then i think it will be more fun. Special effects are great though...much better than T3

SWAT good..

Pirates of the Carribean again good....good story line....and watchable more than once.

LXG Well shouldnt be released so soon after X2......anyway I would rate it as Once in a while...

......i think that i watch too many movies..... ....anyway...its weekend again and movies here i come

Mr. Bowman.......I think you are not the only one to watch too many movies. I have same addiction. I am very excited about LXG. Haven't watched it so far. I believe it will be a good addition in my collection.
