First of all, congrats...........
The procedure is very simple, just get the exemption form from ICAP fill it out and submit it (along with the fee), it will take around 10 to 20 days, you will get an exemption letter from ICAP stating that you are eligible to register yourself as trainee student with any firm of chartered accoutants from the date of your application for the exemption. You will have to undergo the articleship of three years, during which you will have appear in Module E and F of ICAP. and I am not sure about the first attempt, I think it is 18 months after the date of commencement of training contract.
take care.

Ooooh,
if u are already registered student of ICAP, then u must have appeared in the ICAP exams of 'any' stage. If this is the case then you cannot claim the exemptions on the basis of ACCA, bcaz it is the rule of ICAP that once you have appeared in any exam, you cannot claim exemption for the same. But I would advice you to contact ICAP regarding ur matter, they will better guide you.

Yes, but that will be limited to the articles only, and i m afraid that he may not get exemptions if he has already appeared in any of the exams of ICAP.
