Aslam O Alikam,

Dear forum member,

I am ACCA student in London and hoping to finish my acca course in December this year. After that my plan is to go for ICAEW but unfortunately I would not be able to appear in final paper of ICAEW that is case study. Case study is last and final paper of ICAEW and student can only attempt it in their final year of training contact. As being a overseas student I am unable to obtain the training contract therefore under the ICAEW rule I can’t sit in last paper.

My question to you is that how many exemption will be available for me on the basis of ACCA and ICAEW (please bear in mind icaew without passing last paper)

Regards

You will have only foundation level exemption at ICAP. You will have appear and pass Final level comprising of 8 papers before entring to membership of ICAP.
