Hi,

Well, give her something which gives an impression that u deeply care for her & which shows that u made some effort in getting it.

Try finding out what she likes. Like what’s her favourite perfume, her favourite writer (so u could get her a hard-to-find book written by him) or u know, her favourite chocolate etc. Then pick something which requires some effort.

Like when I had to say “I Love You” to my GF (hopefully my future fiancé), I decided to give her something special. So first, I got hold of red roses (lots of them, u cant imagine…the entire back seat) & only red roses coz I knew she only likes red roses. To make it special & show that I cared for her, I hand picked one bunch from my garden & a neighbour’s garden. This was the ugliest bunch compared to the other ones (which I had got from a florist), but when I told her this she loved them most.

Secondly, my GF liked a deo spray “Milli Fluers”, but she couldn’t find it coz it was in short supply. It took me 4 days to find them after searching all supermarkets & shops in gulf. When I found them, I bought all 5 bottles. Then she liked this chocolate “glaxy flutes” & it wasn’t available anywhere too. So, I searched every nook & corner for it before finally finding them at forum. God was I happy! (You maybe thinking “give me a break” but it is true!)

I also gave her a bracelet with the inscription “My heart belongs to you” & a jewellery set (no it wasn’t gold! It just looked so beautiful to me at first sight and costed only Rs. 350…u can find this type of jewellery everywhere like gulf, forum but I got it from a shop infront of forum)

Lastly, I used the very LIMITED art skills I had to show her my feelings! I made her an “I Love You” card myself. Although, I had purchased 6 cards after roaming in about 20 shops, I wasn’t satisfied. So, I gave her all these 6 & the 1 I made myself. Plus, I decorated these cards, the deo sprays & the chocolates with ribbons & stars, small ‘I love u’ hearts. You can find such stuff from a ladies shop (where they get those laces, ribbons, strings etc for their clothes).

So u see, its not the gift which matters, it’s the message! You don’t have to give her a diamond ring to impress her. I could have easily given her something expensive but I choose this. Show ur feelings, just try to put some effort to make ur gift special. I m sure, she would really appreciate it (unless she is a flirt & after ur money!)

Take Care,
AvgJoe
