Hi guys,

I am new in CFA and as such dont have any relevant experience. So how do i enter a CFA relevant experience? Can anyone answer following questions in this regard

1- Should i start searching right now at start of CFA or after completion of level I?

2- Is there any specific forum or website for this purpose? bcz i couldnt locate such jobs in newspaper.

3- Should i apply for affiliate membership in start or what is the most suitable time for this purpose?

I will be very thankful to you guys for guidance.

Regards,

Hey,
With a minuscule financial industry as ours, u wont find much jobs in any of the newspapers. May be once in a blue moon u get to see the job posted and specially in such circumstances as these are, u wont find any job. People are actually being laid off, but anyways, best of luck for ur job hunt. And about the source, frequently visit the career page on the websites of leading brokerage houses, financial institutes etc. U mite get lucky. And yes, the other way is to drop ur resume on their website and also do follow up with them on regular basis. And lastly, in my opinion its better to look for some relevent job after CFA lvl 1.
