Weather predictions normally don't match the outcome. Once, while we were at some hotel on an outstation audit assignment, the newscater on TV was reporting the expected severity of weather during next 24 hours (that was the weekend).

One of our fellows said "OK we will go to the river for bathe and boating". Others asked, was he a mad, how come he decide to do so keeping in view the severity of weather being predicted. He replied, he decided because of this prediction. He insisted and we went, we enjoyed bathing, fishing, boating, walking, and driving, everything. The weather remained nice!!!

So after that I am pretty much convinced of my fellow that whenever a prediction will be made about the weather, it will take a turn.

Regards,

Yup, but this time it was half right , actually prediction was for Ras Al Khaimah, and as a resident of Ras Al khaimah , we were waiting for the rain throughout the day. ( Actually we made lots of plan ). But rain didnt come.

But today we came to know that it was actually fall heavily at Wadi Beh ( In Ras Al Kahimah).

For Dubai it is predicted on coming Friday / Saturday.

Rumors are its man made they tried the artificial rain stuff again. I remember they did it once back in 1986-7 (was still in school ) Every thing was flooded, Dubai airport and Zabeel Palace dripped with rain. We had fun though schools were closed for 3 days !! You kids may not remember it but your parents may.
