Yar Naeem bhai, i m also student of ICMAP and i am also going to take admission in st Financial Mgt in correspondance course. My actual plan is to first study "Khan and Jain" completely. Khan and Jain is just like "Matz and Usury" for costing subjects i.e it clears all your concepts. so what i will advice u is to first study Khan & Jain and then go to some foreign book like Brigham or Van Horne.
But let me tell u one more thing that Financial mgt course can not be completed within six month if you are studing some other subjects and doing a job too.
Wish u best of luck
Masood
