I had completed ICMAP two years back... and then I registered with ICAP and got exemptions from Modules A, B, C and D. Then I start searching for a good CA firm... and guess what, I got a firm Rafique and Company very quickly. I worked there for just 1 month... and soon I became sick of auditing different companies at their offices for almost no TA/DA and they (both the firm and the company) treated you as if you are like a small intermediate college-going boy. Pard me... but this is a truth. So I give up that firm and tried another firm Ibrahim Sheikh... bad experience with peers attitude to new comers... tried another firm Riaz Ahmed Saqib Gohar... bad experience with the employer... tried Ghauri and Co... bad experience... perhaps the smallest CA firm of Pakistan... tried another firm Riaz Ahmed... a good company, good pay, good environment, (although a bad attendance checker), but this time i give up by myself... i have been discouraged with the CA firms environment, nature of work, salary pay, etc.

After these more than two tiresome years... I am still interested in CA... give your best suggestions... please... thanks. Zulfiqar

Its true that environment & pay in firms especially small firms is not good. Have you tried joining big4?

Its difficult in the beginning because you are junior but after a year or more as you become senior the environment starts to get better.
