I want info like how many papers r there? is it Nesscary to pass all papers of CAT to Join ACCA? & How many times its Exams r held in year? How many years it requires to Complete ACCA & last but not least is its Accepted All Over World

q. how many papers?
A. there are a total of 14 papers.

q. is it Nesscary to pass all papers of CAT to Join ACCA?
A. yes. after completing all papers of CAT u will be exempted from first 3 papers of ACCA(part 1)

you can directly join ACCA if you have 2 A-LEVELS passes. you can also join ACCA directly if you are above 21 yrs of age without any qualifcation through MSER (mature student entry route)
to join CAT you must be 16 yrs old.

q. How many times its Exams r held in year?
A. exams are held twice a year in JUNE and DECEMBER. you can attempt maxium 4 papers at each sitting, not more.

q. How many years it requires to Complete ACCA ?
A. depends on how long you take to pass your exams! minimum 2 yrs and maximum 5 yrs . you have to pass the exams within 10 yrs from your date of registeration with ACCA.

q. is its Accepted All Over World?
A. i wont say all over the world! its accepted in UK ofourse. its has an MRA with CGA canada.

its accepted in the gulf. its been in Singapore , malaysia for a very long time.

Wat is the Post or Designation will he Get get after doing ACCA?
Secondly I m doing Inter from Commerce Group. Will it help me ?
& lastly I have Heard that Value of ACCA is less due to High number of Students Studying in ACCA so how long is it True?

i have a friend who is a senior consultant in a big 4 in dubai. she is an ACCA member.
another friend who is an ACCA affiliate is senior auditor in a famous mid tier firms in dubai
i am a student so cant say anything more on this, till i get a job myself!!

Secondly I m doing Inter from Commerce Group. Will it help me ?
if you are a B.com you will be exempted from first 4 papers of ACCA. i have B.commers in my class who have gained such exemptions.

I have Heard that Value of ACCA is less due to High number of Students Studying in ACCA so how long is it True?

i dont know if this is true, i heard in Pakistan it has lesser value than CA of ICAP.
if you are living in UAE you dont have much of a choice. either ACCA or ICAEW (which is a very expensive affair here). many students are studying for ACCA but very few affiliates and members enter the market each year.
