Hi ) I am studying the annual accounts of Royal Bank of Scotland and need to identify the impact of IAS 36 on profit/loss for the company as a whole and also the different divisions. However in the income statement the heading "impairment losses" is impairment of financial assets, i.e. IAS 39, and in note 16 to the accounts (intangible assets) I cannot figure out which figure represents the impairment loss! Sorry to ramble, any help would be so good, im completely lost and stuck and just seem to go around in circles!
the link i have to use for the statements is

http//files.shareholder.com/downloads/RBS/1025026708x0x364242/e1a0271d-f62e-42e6-b794-769a9dc27d6a/RBS_plc_Full_Year_09.pdf

I would be so grateful for any help!
Thank you in advance
Emily
