Hello,
i am wondering about the exemptions for ACCA students in ICAP.
currently icap allows modules A-D of CA to be exempted for ACCA students.
i myself am enrolled in PART 2 of ACCA.
i have heard quite a few rumors regarding changing exemption policies of ICAP for ACCA students due to the new scheme of ACCA which will be in effect from 2007.

Can u please help and tell me if there is any chance of ICAP changing its policies.
i have mailed the assistant director of ICAP and they have told me that icap will not be changing any exemptions in the near future but again i have heard that ICAP is known for making abrupt changes.

Can anyone please help?

Regards.

Oh Dear i am very upset when seeing this kind of posts the one who is doing ACCA do not need to go for such tiny things like CA(woh bhi from ICAP)Dear you are a member of world's fastest growing accountancy body it's international recognition is millions of the times better then paki certificates like ICAP, ICMAP, ICSP,PIPFA and other old and weaker certificates even all the 6 paki institutes can't repeal ACCA. ACCA is something great and absolute in ACCA we are studying the recent real world accountancy not like orthodox CAs who are still studying by the help of Shukla and Gupta or soooooo. So lets broad your vission go for something more demanding after ACCA like CFA,CIMA,CMA or CIA don't bother about ICAP exemptions ICAP in nothing more then a tiny and non valueable certificate go for something above then ACCA after succesful completion of ACCA don't go for CA if you have lot of time and money to waste then please give it to some charitable institutions not give your parent's work hard money to ICAP or such thing ACCAs want to go for ICAWE,CIMA,ICAS,ICAI(reland) and you are still thinking about ICAP dear change your thoughts with develped countries and avoid paki thoughts like gharrebb nation ok have you understand
