Best approach is to concentrate only on study pack ..... ATFL is preferable but if u wanna practice more than try BPP too but plzz dont go futher deep other wise u will be lost ..For audit concentrate on audit standard than study text at maximum, accounting standards for Financial accounting.
For standards dont use only summaries read the whole standard.
Well the message is 100% cource coverage with limited studies is the best approach and u don't have time if u r apearing in summer exams.
Please don;'t forget to pray after all its ICAP exam -) and Best OF Luck !!

The most important study guideline for anybody appearing in ICAP exams is to pray as much as they can and the dua should not be about the mood of the examiner.... instead one should pray that the council members on the day of their meeting are in a gracious mood! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

On a serious note... my advice is to stick to the text books and revision kits and give yourself enuff time to revise and do the questions from past papers atleast once before appearing in the exams. Gone are the days when one had to study 5 different books for a single subject and even then that didnt use to be enuff.

Goodluck

I great new book on IAS is available at Adnan Book Stall, Urdu Bazar, Karachi

IAS 2003 Interpretation and Application of International Accounting
Standards
by Barry J. Epstein (Author), Abbas Ali Mirza (Author)
Paperback 1040 pages

Available at Adnan Book Stall, Urdu Bazaar, Karachi

All in all IAS 2003 is a must buy for all dealing with IASs. Due to
lack of current textbook in international accounting this book
becomes more that a reference for a professional. It will also be
useful source for accounting students and teachers wishing to better
understand the IASs.
