hi...
no matter from which background u really are...to pass Economics u must have to write the topics u learn ... and not prefer much books just go through entire Study Text of PBP...

Hi,
If you have not studied economics before then you need to start it from the basics...for that I suggest you to study Habibullah Vaseer's economics books that are used at Intermediate(F.Sc) level (vol. 1 and 2).Do not go for learning just get the basic ideas initially and try to understand the Graphs.
Other useful books are K.K Dewitt's and Mconnel and Brue's.

to pass A3 paper PBP study text is the best book. It contains almost all the topics covered in the course.

to supplement it u can study from any other book by an english or american author. u shuld try to read each and every topic in the Study Text. If something is unclear, then read that topic from other books.

Pakistani books are not advisable coz they contain errors.

i disagree with ice...bcoz paki books do help in basic stuff....for finance and macro you willalso need abdul haleem khwaja book....but most emphasis should be on PBP

salam friend,
no need 2 worry.just beleive in Almighty n get started ur studies with pakistani author abdul haleenm khawaja.its easy 2 understand n nice too.a little errors r there but i hope ur teacher will guide in those errors.so donot worry.i covers more than 90% sylaabus.i will not advise u so study pbp study text as i know that it is difficult 2 study in just three months n in that book most of the topics r repeated.so study from khawaja,s book n donot forget 2 write the topic once r twice wt u learn every day in ur own wording.try 2 clear ur concepts in economics n donot rely on route learning ok.get a copy of ur syllabus of economics ,1st search those topics included in sylabus from khawaja,s book n remaining from kkdewit,s book r study text ok.moreover emphasize greatly on macro ecomics n financa portion ok.
best wishes 4 ur future
take care
