A Practical Experience Record(PER) Annual Return, which includes all the information about the practical experience you gained during the previous 12 months, has to be submitted to ACCA every year. This annual return can be filled online or through post. You can start the training before getting registered with ACCA as you have to mention it after the year end. ACCA will however confirm the information you provided to ACCA with your employer. For more info on Annual Return pls visit http//www.accaglobal.com/students/acca/per/return
or contact the ACCA office in your city

As far as i know, it is NOT necessary to inform ACCA before starting your training. Please confirm it from the ACCA office.
