Hi, This is zulfiqar.

I have been reading all the discussions on this forum with great interest and such interest has prompted me to write or ask a question of mine which i was wanting to ask from a mature person.

The question is

1. What type of experience, a ACCA gains and how much salary is being offered to ACCAs in Karachi?

2. Similarly for CFA, that, what kind of experience is gained by CFA and how much salary is being offered to CFAs in Karachi?

Please give me details answer and inputs of ur own based on your professional experiences or email me at [email protected]

An ACCA gains the same kind of experience a Chartered Accountant gains, which is pure and hardcore auditing and other financial matters... The salary of an ACCA is dependant on a lot of factors (i.e working in an audit firm, working in a multinational)... Currently roughly ACCA qualifieds get 15K-25K...

A CFA basically gains work experience about financial analysing... Audit is not a part of CFA, however, the flexible three year work experience requirement of CFA permitted by AIMR accepts audit and other related work experience... There are extremely few CFAs in Pakistan, and all working in different fields as far as I know, so I don't have an estimate of their salaries.
