Dear Sir/Madam

I would like to know what is the importance of passing papers in first go , and the marks obtained in ACCA papers, I wonder why dont they sent a consolidated marksheet for each part, is it same like that in CA.

Thanks...

hi there
hmmm well i havet seen it relevant anywhere in ACCA.. No one asks you what marks did u score when u qualified for ACCA or be it CA. All that matters is that u become a chartered accountant or a certified chartered accountant..
so its irrelevant if you ask about the market conditions. but yes setting ur personal goals and objectives its a totally new ball game and even 100 seems less at times D

Apart from first passes, which some employers may ask for. Marks on some core subjects are the basis for the BSc. in accounting confered upon by the Oxford Brookes University.

Ofcourse disclosure of marks by ACCA (as by ICPA, IIA, etc.) helps students to guage their expertise and tells them where they stand. It also puts an end to the 'conspiring hand' theory which students failing ICAP exams are often forced to go with.

Your average grades in the ACCA Exams reflect your grade for the BSc degree.

In the UK the no of attempts is gaged by employers, to determine advancement or continuing employment.

The Big 4 are ardent supporters of this policy, other smaller firms are also following suit.

Also, there are awards for prizewinners for each paper.

Hi "Arslan" - you should change your email address when registering under different Usernames - It is the same as your email address on the site accountancystudents.co.uk

Can you tell me why you are now claimimg to be from India and know nothing of Pakistan, when a few days ago you were employed in and living in Pakistan?

Legend Killer

the above msg was not posted by LABEL, i copied it from mr ARSLAN SHAHID's msg in "general discussion forum".

PRACS i think there is a big time confusion going on b/w LABEL and THE LEGEND KILLER.

Label believes The Legend Killer is Arsalan Shahid (who is not a famous personality). The Legend Killer is denying this aligation.

And all of us are wasting our time reading their posts.

lets get on with it yaar!!!!!!
